We are proud to welcome Daniel Nannskog as our new Head Scout & Advisor for Scandinavia. For many, Daniel needs no introduction. A former professional across three countries, named the best foreign player in Norwegian football history, and later one of Sweden’s most respected football voices, he has lived the game at every level, from the pitch to the biggest broadcast stages of World Cups and Euros. Now, he begins a new chapter. And this time, the focus is not on his own career, but on guiding the next generation.

In Daniel’s own words: “For years I’ve been thinking about what my next step should be. When I came into contact with Mind Game Sport, everything fell into place. For the first time in a long while, I felt that spark again, the drive, the excitement, the sense of purpose. To support young players in securing opportunities that combine world-class education with the pursuit of their professional dream, that’s incredibly inspiring to me.”

Daniel’s passion is clear. He speaks about helping young players secure the best possible soccer scholarships in the USA, setting them on a journey that combines academic excellence, unforgettable experiences, and the very real chance to keep their professional dreams alive. In summer 2026, he will relocate to Los Angeles to be close to the players and serve as a mentor during their journey.

Behind this step lies deep preparation. “I’ve immersed myself in this world, learning every detail of how the process works, and I feel ready to deliver. What I admire most about Mind Game Sport is that we don’t just place players at colleges and step away, we’re there for the entire journey. From choosing the right university to being present during their studies, to opening doors for careers beyond football with partners like Siemens and SAP. But at the heart of it all is one thing: helping every player go as far as they possibly can in football. That’s what drives me.”
